2 Bedroom 2 Bath fully renovated home on the water with spectacular views of the bay and Pine Island Sound. This fantastic home is on the island of Matlacha which is connected to the mainland via a causeway that leads to Cape Coral, Ft Myers and Punta Gorda. All of which are a short drive away.
The fishing is spectacular right out of the back door. Boater? Pine Island, Boca Grande, Sanibel and Captiva islands are all minutes away by boat. Snook, trout, tarpon, snapper, triple tail, and many other species of fish are just a cast away. Take in Florida's most incredible sunsets from the backyard. As the sunsets, watch the manatees and dolphins play as the pelicans, ospreys, and rosetta spoonbills fly overhead.
Cocktails? Fresh seafood? Many incredible restaurants are within walking distance. Don't feel like walking? Bikes and kayak are included. Yep, you can kayak to all of the eating/drinking establishments on the island. Don't have a boat? We can recommend the finest guides around who help ya catch dinner, take you on a dolphin tour or out to the many beaches in search of sand dollars and shells. They can bring you to Cabbage Key where it is rumored that Jimmy Buffet wrote Cheeseburger in Paradise after playing a few tunes on their dining rooms' antique piano. Yum!
This island is making an incredible comeback after hurricane Ian tried his best to test the locals and tourists alike! The shops and restaurants have been renovated along with many of the homes. Your support is very much appreciated as our island welcomes you to come see just how fast a wonderful and determined group of people can come together after Mother Nature deals such a blow! Please leave your suit and tie at home and swap them for your favorite flip flops and drink koozie. Don't have them already? The house comes with koozies and the local shops have the flip flops!
Our home offers ample parking for both your vehicles and boat trailer. Drop your boat in the water via the boat ramp two blocks away and motor on over to the dock outback of the cottage. Tie up to the well protected dock, or inquire wether the attached 10,000# capacity electric boat lift is available for rent during your stay.
After a day of shopping and/or fishing, relax by the fire pit while watching the mullet jump and dolphins play. When you're ready for some sleep, crawl into the brand new beds that come with dream mattresses. One bedroom has either a King bed or two Twin XL beds, depending on your needs. The other bedroom has a queen bed. Both bedrooms have smart televisions waiting for you to watch your favorite streaming channels.
This house has three entrances, allowing privacy for multiple couples. Bring your friends and challenge each other to who's going to catch the most and/or biggest fish of your vacation.

Old Florida at it's finest! You can walk to any of the island's art galleries, gift shops, restaurants, and bars within 5 minutes or so. A couple blocks away you will find a beautiful waterfront park with large playground and boat ramp, as well as the "Fishiest Bridge in the World" for more world class fishing. If you'd like to take a dip in a beautiful pool, the community pool is just a few minutes drive.
There is parking for several cars and boat trailer on the property. Kayaks and bikes are provided.
